My Little Man...Isn't so Little anymore!

I can't believe it has been almost 4 months since I have blogged...I don't even know if anyone checks here anymore to see if there are any updates! :)

I am enjoying my summer with Kooper, we have had a blast! I love spending all day with him! He is down to one nap now so he takes a LONG afternoon nap...the only problem, is most days I do too! I could get so much done during his nap time...maybe I will tomorrow! I graduated with my Masters in May, so I am finally able to read for enjoyment! :) I started the Twilight series and never knew vampires could be so interesting! :) We have a family vacation planned in 2 weeks we are going to Florida for a week...we are driving...please start praying now! Bad...Bad...Bad Blogger!

I have been such a bad blogger! It makes me so mad that I spend so much time on facebook now and I keep saying I am going to get better at blogging...but it hasn't happened yet! We are going to the ENT tomorrow for Kooper...looks like he might need tubes. My brother had them and I have heard of lots of kids having them but I am a bit nervous...we will find out tomorrow! We are also taking Kooper on his first trip to the ZOO on Tuesday! I am so excited! Brandon is taking off and we will have lots of pictures to share! Hopefully I will blog again this week....don't hold your breath!

The Flu...

Well we have it! We found out Thursday morning that Koop in the Loop has the FLU...it was a domino effect really....We found out that Mrs. Betty's daughter Ava Rose had it on Wednesday, but I thought we might be in the clear since we got the shot...Koop got it Thursday...I haven't been feeling well but I don't think I have it, and now Mrs. Betty's son Isaiah has it! YUCK! I hope it goes away soon!

I know ya'll have been missin me!

I am so sorry I have neglected my blog! I finally caved to the facebook pressure and now my blog is desperate for some updating! I am going to try and do better! Yesterday we had Kooper's first birthday party! It was so much fun! I had Tiffani Siebert come out and take pictures! It was wonderful because I didn't have to miss a minute of birthday fun taking pictures myself! She took amazing pictures and teased me today with a few! The shirt Kooper is wearing was made by his Aunt Natalie Davis Wright...I told her I wanted a monkey shirt, and she said "oh I can do that!" She is so crafty! So if you need a shirt or anything else crafty...give her a call! My mom made the cake. She is not a big fan of making cakes because they take so much time and are so much work. I bet she worked on this cake for about 10-12 hours total! Of course it was PERFECT in everyway! She made Kooper a little one of his own...he wasn't sure what he was suppose to do with it! There were babies everywhere! That is my favorite part of living in a "small" town. We will all get to watch our kids grow up together and there will be people who know them all over town, so hopefully they won't get away with much!

I just can't believe that my little man is already a year old...kinda makes me sad! He is such a blessing to us and we love him with all of our heart! Happy Birthday Kooper Allen King!
